The Texas Comptroller’s Office plays a vital role in the economic health and well-being of Texas, and as Comptroller, Susan is your partner in helping promote and energize state and local governments as well as the Texas business climate. She is the chief financial officer for Texas and steward of the state’s finances. Susan manages the state’s treasury operations, monitors Texas’ fiscal health, makes a biennial estimate of state revenue and ensures state taxes are collected fairly and efficiently to fund vital programs and services for the people of Texas.
