Wish You All The Best This Holiday Season

I hope you have been enjoying the holiday season thus far, and getting quality time with those who are most important to you.

Yesterday I filed paperwork to continue to serve as Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. This officially begins my road to victory so I may carry out what I am most passionate about, keeping Texas competitive by continuing to be a budget hawk, because, after all, it's your money!

Grassroots Campaign Kick Off

Last week, Comptroller Susan Combs kicked off her fall 2009 grassroots tour in Lubbock and Amarillo. Thank you to all of you who came out to show your support!

Mourning the Loss of Brianna Becker

Dear friends,
We are mourning the loss of Brianna Becker, who worked with Friends of Susan Combs Committee for nearly a year. Brianna was an extraordinary young woman who was committed to her faith, politics, and her community.

Brianna was enormously experienced in political activism, as evidenced by her heavy involvement with The Texas Public Policy Foundation, the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute, and her position as Vice Chairman of the Young Conservatives of Texas.

Susan Combs: A Lady Of Her Word

Guest Contributor: John Larrison, SREC SD 21 Committeeman

I have found Susan Combs to be a lady of her word. She does what she says she will do. We don’t always get that from our politicians these days.
