Dear Friends,

Since I announced my re-election for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts this past June, my campaign has been building strong momentum. Our hard work paid off when we learned this week that I will not have a primary or general election opponent from either major party!

This is an amazing development that I never expected, and am certain I could not have done it without loyal supporters like you. Thank you for all that you have done to help my re-election campaign.

I did however, draw an opponent from the Libertarian party and will work to keep the issue I am most passionate about in the forefront, which is spreading the word of fiscal restraint with your tax dollars, because, after all, it’s your money!
